The Okavango Explorer Camp, along with its sibling camps Selinda, Zarafa, and Selinda Explorer, is located in the southwest of the enormous and stunning Selinda Reserve, a 130,000 hectare sanctuary. This region is intriguing, lovely, and abundant in wildlife. Because of the amazing variety of wildlife that is drawn to these life-giving waters in large numbers, the game viewing is especially excellent when the spillway flows during the driest months. This is when up to 9,000 elephants congregate on the overflow waters, the region is renowned for its astounding elephant populations. The area is home to impressive predator populations as well, and game is abundant on the lovely open plains.
