Chitaba Lediba Camp

  Chitabe Lebida Camp in located in the private Chitabe Concession to the south east of the Delta. This area borders the Moremi Game Reserve. This area has the best of both land and water activities in a game and especially predator rich area. Chitabe Lediba is a small intimate camp with just five tents. Each tent is on elevated wooden decks, connected with wooden walkways. Each tent has full en-suite facilities, outdoor shower, tea and coffee making facilities and a private deck overlooking the floodplain. The common areas of the camp, the dining area, lounge and pub, all have superb views overlooking the surrounding flood plains. This provides a constant back drop of wildlife! There is also a plunge pool to cool off in on a hot day.

 Chitabe offers land activities all year round. It is well known for its predator concentrations of cheetah, lion, leopard and wild dog. Night-drives can be very rewarding and offer seeing the elusive nocturnal animals such as aardvark and pangolin. It also gives rare opportunities to view animals such as Civet Cat, Genet Cat, Porcupine, Serval, Caracal and Aardwolf. Chitabe hosts a variety of wildlife, which includes Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. Guests should also see Zebra, Reedbuck, Giraffe, Kudu, Impala, Tsessebe, Warthog, Baboons, Bushbuck.   Land game drives in open 4×4 Land Rovers, where each guest has a window seat. The night drive is accompanied by a spotlight to maximise chances of spotting an elusive night animal or bird. The camp does offer walks with an experienced guide, giving guests an opportunity to explore the area on foot.
