Chobe Chilwero Camp

Bordering the Chobe National Park, Chobe Chilwero has 14 luxurious guest cottages. Each cottage has an indoors and outdoors shower, freestanding bath and tea and coffee making facilities. Air-conditioning and ceiling fans are in each room as well as WIFI. Each cottage has large glass sliding doors, bring the outside in. The main guest areas of Chobe Chilwero have fantastic views over the Chobe River and the elephants who come down to swim! The swimming pool is set are on split level decks, with lovely gardens and the lounge and bar areas all available for guests to relax. Chobe Chilwero boasts a full service spa with indoor spa bath, plunge pool, relaxation area, and private treatment rooms elevated in the treetops.

Given that the biggest remaining population of elephants in Africa lives in this region between Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, elephants are a prominent part of all activities at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. As they drink and play at the water's edge in their raucous herds, these grey giants can be easily viewed during game drives in open-sided 4 x 4 cars. Exciting wildlife drives driven by our knowledgeable, experienced guides will bring you up close to hippos, buffalos, puku, and other animals that congregate on the banks of the Chobe River. Impala, kudu, and red lechwe are just a few of the usual antelope found here, along with the puku, a small rusty-brown antelope. Naturally, the region also has lions and leopards.
