Kings Pool Camp

Overlooking the Kings Pool Lagoon in the game rich Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Kings Pool Camp is a luxurious traditional camp with nine spacious tents. Each of these tents is built on raised decks and boast a private veranda and plunge pool from which guests can take in the amazing views. Each tent has en-suite bathrooms as well as an outside shower. The spacious rooms also have a their own lounge. The guest areas at Kings Pool camp are also built on stilted platforms under thatch. The large dining room, lounge and bar area all have great views across the Linyanti. Meals are often taken outside under the stars in a boma. There is also a communal swimming pool and sun loungers.

The area is famous for its elephant concentrations in our winter months and for the great game viewing all year. Huge herds of elephant congregate in winter along the waterways and lagoons – and at the waterholes that are located along the Savuti Channel. Towards the end of the dry months sable and roan antelope can be seen in the Mopane woodland. All the predators – lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog – feast on the prey species in the area, including impala, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, lechwe, tsessebe and other game. The camp is close to the source of the Savuti Channel as well as the Linyanti water ways. Elephant viewing is amongst the best anywhere especially in winter. Plains game viewing is good. Night drives on the channel are superb.
